Website accessibility

The Jämijärvi Municipality's online service jamijarvi.fi is subject to the Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019), which is based on Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.

The online service is currently not fully accessible. We are currently working on developing it to meet accessibility requirements.

Supervisory authority

If you notice any accessibility issues on the jamijarvi.fi website, please first provide feedback to us, the website administrator. It may take up to 14 days for a response. If you are not satisfied with the response you receive or do not receive a response at all within two weeks, you can file a report with the Regional State Administrative Agency of Southern Finland. The Regional State Administrative Agency of Southern Finland website provides detailed information on how to file a report and how the matter will be handled.

Data protection

What is data protection?

The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to the processing of personal data in both the public and private sectors. The aim of the regulation is to ensure that people's right to the protection of personal data and thus their right to privacy is also fulfilled in the digital age. Organisations have the burden of proof that the law is being complied with.

Data protection is

• reputation management.

The municipality of Jämijärvi acts responsibly in terms of data protection and in such a way that no one needs to worry about the use of their data. In addition to the municipality's data protection officer, the municipality also has a data protection and information security team appointed by the mayor.
