Sewage
Sewerage network
There is a municipally maintained sewer network in the center of Jämijärvi, the Jämi area, and the Mielahti cottage area. All built properties located in areas covered by sewerage must be connected to the municipal sewer network.
The municipality draws up contracts for connection to the sewage system and invoices the connection fee. The usage fees are invoiced for wastewater in accordance with the valid tariff three (3) times a year (two (2) estimated invoices and a balancing invoice in the autumn).
Wastewater charges
| Wastewater usage fee: €2,49/m3 + VAT 25,5% |
| Connection fee: €1,43 x building floor area (m2) x 6. |
The operation of the wastewater treatment plant belongs to the municipality. The treatment plant operator is responsible for the plant. In case of failure Please contact the treatment plant operator first. If necessary, the designer and technical manager are also responsible for fault response.
Property-specific wastewater systems
In areas without municipal sewage, the property owner arranges wastewater treatment in another way, e.g. with a closed tank solution.
Energy
Leppäkosken Sähkö Oy is responsible for the distribution of electricity in Jämijärvi. The company's website provides information on network service products, connecting to the electricity grid, and the 24/7 emergency service.
On the Outage Emergency page, you can view power outages on a fault map. The outage emergency number, tel. 03 4503 333, is available 24 hours a day. Before your call is connected to the operator, you will hear an announcement about any power outages that may already be known and their areas. The electricity company will also try to provide an estimate of how long it will take to repair the fault.
