It is a 30-minute drive from Jämijärvi to Parkano railway station, from where the train journey to the capital region takes just over a couple of hours. It is an hour's drive from Jämijärvi to Tampere railway station ja to the airport and to the port of Pori. To Helsinki-Vantaa Airport one can drive in about three hours.

There is room for business in Jämijärvi, and the plots are affordable. There is currently one vacant plot in the Mutkala industrial area. 8 500 m²plot of land and one in the Suurimaa village center of approx. 18 000 m²'s plot.
