A safe place for young people

Cellari Youth Centre is a safe leisure space for those under 18, where you can come alone or with a friend. In addition to free time, Cellari offers activities such as playing billiards and various board and console games, doing crafts, cooking and watching movies. Sometimes competitions, trips and theme nights are organised. Each day has its own theme, which you can participate in if you wish.
Cellar also organizes various clubs, such as handicraft courses for students in grades 1–6. More information about the clubs can be found at from the municipality's club and hobby calendar.

Outside of opening hours, the Cellar is rented out for recreational use. Associations from Jämijärvi also meet regularly in the premises. For more information about renting the premises, please contact the wellness coordinator.

1. Respect others
Treat others with kindness. Bullying, insults, racist language, harassment and discrimination do not belong here. Everyone is given physical peace.
2. Safe space
Follow the principles of safe space and the instructions of the instructors. In emergency situations, act according to the instructions of the instructors.
3. Music and photography
Only the instructor plays music. Filming or publishing photos/videos of others without permission is prohibited.
4. Alcoholism & energy drinks
Cellari and its surroundings are a drug-free area. Energy drinks are not allowed in Cellari.
5. Goods in their place
Shoes on the shoe rack and outerwear on the coat rack.
6. Vehicles properly
Leave vehicles in designated areas and do not block walkways.
7. Respect property
You must not touch someone else's property without permission.
8. Odorless space
Please come without strong scents — spraying fragrances in the space is also prohibited.
9. Violation of the rules
The instructor will issue a penalty appropriate to the situation (e.g. discussion, warning, removal from the room, or curfew).
10. Let's keep the Cellar cozy
Trash in the trash, dishes in the sink. You are liable for any intentional damage. There is video surveillance in the premises and yard.
