Common areas for recreation
The municipality of Jämijärvi maintains and develops public areas so that residents and tourists can enjoy and relax in Jämijärvi.
The municipality purchases maintenance services for roads, parks, outdoor sports facilities and other public areas in the planning areas partly from external operators. Please do your part to keep the public areas clean.
If you notice any deficiencies or repair needs in public areas, you can report them to the municipality using the electronic feedback form.

Summer market days and other events are held at Jämijärvi Market Square.
The market has a canopy, groups of tables and benches, as well as information boards about the Lauhanvuori-Hämeenkangas UNESCO Global Geopark and a bicycle service station.
Pääskyn School Center Playground

The playground at the Pääsky School Center is freely available to everyone outside of school hours. The play equipment is aimed at primary school children.
Pääskyn kindergarten playground

The playground at Pääskyn Daycare Center is freely available to everyone outside of school hours. The play equipment is aimed at children of kindergarten age.
Little Swallow's playground

The playground at Pikku-Pääsky Daycare Center is freely available to everyone outside of school hours. The play equipment is aimed at children of kindergarten age.
Jämi playground

The playground, located in the central area of Jämi, is free for everyone to use. The playground does not have winter maintenance. The play equipment is aimed at primary school and kindergarten-aged children.

The municipality plants two flower fields in the spring, from which residents and visitors can pick flowers in late summer. One of the flower fields is located along the fitness trail in the city center, the other on Avenno.

The Markulahti carpet washing station is available to residents during the summer. The washing station's operating hours are announced through the municipality's communication channels.
The carpet cleaning area has sinks and drying racks.
